Aquarius Full Moon (ptII) - Aug 20

This is the second Full Moon in Aquarius and makes no significant aspects to other planets so it's going to be a short report. In some ways we will see a repeat of the stories, themes and feelings as the last full moon. This one is at the end degrees of Aquarius so it may "bleed over' or include features of the following house.  As always, most depends on your natal chart and what you have aspecting the latter degrees of Aquarius. Some may have eperienced the former Aquarius Moon as pleasantly social or exciting and this one may be decidedly stressful or boing.

Aquarius is about setting a foundation for the future and shining as a unique individual in the company of others. It's about aligning with those groups who share a world-view and build a new civilizaiton through cooperation, work and discipline to an ideal. That ideal can be anything from neo-royalism to the tea party to an book burning. It's not strictly about democracy or communism orsimply everything we associate with progressive ideals in the casual sense of the term.

Aquarius is ruled by Saturn (not Uranus) and as such rules the discipline of science. Uranus is experimental and is the promethean/pandorean fruits of technological advance but Saturn is the structure and rigor of scientific method. There is a difference! One enjoys the benefits of novelty and technological magic while the other works carefully and persistently to being it about into the world.

Capricorn, the other sign ruled by Saturn, preceeds Aquarius and is the principal of the cultural foundation. Capricorn is the old guard. Aquarius then is that part of us that is rigorous and structured in order to rebuild the foundations of culture and civilization (Capricorn) and take us into the future. What is new  will one day seem old and antiquated. What is novel and unqiue will one day be tried and true. The two become one. The union of heaven and earth.

All that said, Aquarius represents that critical and fixed aspect of the mind and communications. It is about ideas of social structure and in the more  mundane sense represents Friends and peer groups. Novelty (so long as it doesn't disrupt the social cohesion) and experimentation (as long as notes are taken) are both Aquarian themes and you may find them popping up in your life in some way during this time.

How is this effecting me?

How and where are we being forward-looking, humanitarian and scientific? Where might be a bit detached and aloof? Where do we like to unify with others and share in a common good and common goal? Where do we need to be more responsible in our communities and larger world?

Those most effected by this Full Moon will have planets near 28 Degrees Aquarius or the other  Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, scorpio). This includes those who have birthdays around the 15th-22nd of Febuary, May, August and November.

This Full Moon is on the cusp, so you may find it useful or interesting to look at the interpretation for your own rising sign as well as that which comes AFTER.

Where this Full  Moon occurs in your chart will reveal what area of life will be effected, changed or challenged. For this you will need to look to your RISING sign.  If you don't know your rising sign you can calculate with the free rising sign calculator at Cafe Astrology. : Rising sign calculator.

As always, this is an exceedingly brief look at what is going on for each rising sign and does not take into account a variety of factors that signify other evens in your life that can mitigate, exaggerate and modify these themes.
